You can act un-interested, tell her she's not your type, make her jealous by talking about other girls (especially if it shows what a great guy you are), hell even ask her about her best girl friend! As long as she is 95% convinced that she is never going to get that. Leave a tiny possibility margin for her to keep her going for you though. And what do you respond when you asks you whether you are playing hard-to-get on her? "I'm not playing hard-to-get, I play never-gonna-happen!" would be a good answer.
And when the moment is right you cash-in. Wait a little while but not too long, because you may risk that her inner-drive for you disappears. Depending on the girl I usually work her for a week to three months. Each girl is different, has to be worked differently and gives me different desired results. Remember that the hard-to-get tactic should always be used in company of other tactics (DBT, BDS etc.). Never sail blind!
Oh and before I forget, if she would want to blame you or question you about not being honest to her, you can tell her doe instance: "I absolutely didn't believeI was gonna want you, but at the end you simply blew me away!" away!"
